Our Story

Our owners, Shaun McCluskey and Mark Fowkes, have worked within the seating industry for over three decades for large, respectable organisations. During this time they often spoke about starting a small company with big aspiration; a company that truly put the customer first; a company that put the old cliché ‘small enough to care, large enough to deliver’ into practice. In 2017 this dream became reality and they have never looked back. Both Shaun and Mark strongly believe that there is no place in the industry for hard selling tactics and our proud to offer an unbeatable service throughout the UK.

Shaun McCluskey

Home Assessmement – North

With over 12 years experience within the specialist seating arena Shaun brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of different solutions for an individual’s specific needs. Shaun has worked closely with hundreds of Occupational Therapists throughout the UK and brings honest straight talking advice for both the client and the professional.

Shaun has provided CPD Accredited posture and pressure management training for many years and works closely with Occupational Therapists to explore various seating solutions and puts the client at the heart of every seating assessment. Shaun is currently studying at Oxford Brookes University to further his knowledge in posture management.

Excellent ethical service from Channel Healthcare and Shaun McCluskey

After a couple of disastrous visits from National companies last week I was recommended to call Shaun McCluskey for an assessment for a riser/recliner chair my elderly mother.
He visited today to assess my mother, my sisters who were present described him as ‘brilliant’ and were so impressed they ordered the chair this afternoon at a price that was far less than the National companies who visited last week.
